Autumn Budget 2017 - how will it affect you?

Relief for first time buyers alongside action to unlock stalled development and encourage house building were key messages. More money for Brexit preparations soothed some nerves within his own party, as did steps to reduce universal credit waiting times.

    Amongst those headline stories, there were still the announcements on taxes and duty, further investment in HMRC and measures to tackle tax avoidance and evasion.
