Abbey Tax shortlisted for technology award

Abbey Tax, one of the leading fee protection insurance providers and independent tax consultancies to accountants, has been recognised for its market leading innovation, having been announced as an FStech Awards finalist.

Abbey Tax, based in Rugby, has been shortlisted in the competitive Online Technology Provider of the Year category of the awards having entered its online Abbey Portal – a successful all-encompassing tool designed to help its accountancy practice clients administer and market their insurance schemes.

An online claims management system, client database, emarketing facility, webinar function and more can all be utilised and overseen in one place, simply and effectively using easily accessible technology.

Originally launched two years ago, the fully automated portal enables practices to build their own emarketing campaigns with a functionality that saves accountants time and expense by providing branded HTML emails with pre-populated content which can be sent to clients and prospects, increasing the potential for business growth.

On hearing the FStech Awards announcement, Abbey Tax managing director, Christian Stobbs, said: “It is extremely satisfying to know that our proven and successful online solution for client business development has been formally acknowledged in this way.

“We are always seeking new ways to deliver exceptional client service and improve business opportunities through technology and innovation. I am very proud that these awards reinforce our position as a leading tax specialist with a comprehensive understanding of and commitment to servicing the needs of accountants.”
