On 25 May 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into enforcement and no doubt you will already be aware of how this impacts you and your practice.

The good news is the GDPR replaces the old Data Protection Act and many of the principles in the new legislation are the same, so if you were complying properly with the previous law then you have a strong starting point. However, there are important new elements and some things that need to be done differently to ensure you are compliant.
