On the 25 May 2018 the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into enforcement and no doubt you are already starting to think about how this will impact you and your practice.

The good news is the GDPR replaces the current Data Protection Act and many of the principles in the new legislation are the same, so if you are complying properly with the current law then you have a strong starting point. However, there are important new elements and some things that will need to be done differently to ensure you are compliant.
